PROCESS

Sangeyahud pieces are heated till they turn red-hot. The red-hot pieces are then immediately soaked in Kwaath (see glossary) prepared from Kulathi. The process of heating and dipping is carried out 7 times to obtain Shudh (purified) Sangeyahud.

  • It is a general rule followed by healers to use fresh mediums for dipping the element to be purified each time the process is repeated even if not mentioned in the reference
