Plant Description
Evergreen that grows to about 8 to 12 m in height. Elliptic, glandular dotted, aromatic leaves; yellow, tubular flowers, 1 cm across.small, oblong fruit with little pulp. The dried flower buds of this tree are the cloves of commerce. All parts of the tree are highly aromatic.
Flowering & Fruiting Period: April – May.
