Plant Description
An evergreen tree. Leaves ovate-lanceolate, shortly acuminate, glabrous. Flowers many in axillary panicle, longer than leaves. Fruit dark purple, surrounded by perianth lobes. Rare tree found at Amboli and other select spots. Cultivated by few.
Flowering & Fruiting Period: November-March.
