Aja==Goat, Dugdh== Milk; as the term implies Aja-dugdh means goats fresh milk. Aja-Dugdh is considered by Ayurveda to be light on the human system, cool in effect and easily digestible. It is sweet in taste with a slightly insipid tinge. Aja-Dugdh procured from wild goat is considered highly medicinal then one procured from livestock.SHODHAN OR AYURVEDA PURIFICATION PROCESS
No specific purification process for Aja-Dugdh is found in Ayurveda treatise which may indicate that Aja-Dugdh does not require to undergo specific purification process and can be directly used as medicine. However if Aja-Dugdh is contaminated with dust or other foreign particles it is advisable to filter them out.
