ABOUT

Talc (derived from the Persian via Arabic talq) is a mineral composed of hydrated magnesium silicate. In loose form, it is the widely used substance known as talcum powder. It occurs as foliated to fibrous masses, its monoclinic crystals being so rare as to be almost unknown.

SHODHAN OR AYURVEDA PURIFICATION PROCESS

No specific purification process for Dugdh-paashan is found in Ayurveda treatise which may indicate that Dugdh-paashan does not require to undergo specific purification process and can be directly used as medicine. However if Dugdh-paashan is contaminated with dust or other foreign particles it is advisable to filter them out.
