Shrung Bhasma (Method 2)

PREPARATION

Shrung is cut into small pieces and placed in a hollow earthen vessel half-filled with Kumaari leaves (cut into small pieces). The remaining vessel is again covered with Kumaari leaves , sealed and exposed to high flames till all Shrung pieces are burnt and reduce to ash. Shrung ash is then collected and blended with Kumaari juice and rolled into a cake. The cake on drying is given a Laghuput (see glossary) to obtain Shrung Bhasma.

Shrung Bhasma prepared by this method is considered more medicinal as compared to Shrung Bhasma (Method1) preparation.
