Kumudeshwar Ras(Method 1) - Ingredient Details
NOTE
- Kumudeshwar Ras described in Rasendrasarsangrah is interpreted differently by various Vaidyas(Vaidyas == Ayurveda physicians). Certain Vaidyas take Shudh Tankan proportion as 1/4 Tola in the formulation. Secondly since the formulation is called Kumudeshwar Ras, many Vaidyas are of the opinion that Shudh Parad must be included in the formulation as the term Ras (see glossary)implies formulation containing Parad.
- Kumudeshwar Ras is also described in treatise Rasyogsagar. The preparation method is similar except for certain ingredients like Raupya Bhasma and Suvarnmakshik Bhasma which are not included (Refer Kumudeshwar Ras (Method 2) .
- Raschandanshu (Refer Kumudeshwar Ras (Method 3) has also described a method to prepare Kumudeshwar Ras. However its contents are entirely different from Kumudeshwar Ras contents described by Rasendrasarsangrah and Rasyogsagar.
- Certain Vaidyas use Mauktik Pishti instead of Mauktik Bhasma in the above formulation.
- 1 Tola approx. 11gm
