Ardhnarinateshwar Ras

PREPARATION

Shudh (purified) Parad 1 Tola and Shudh Gandhak 1 Tola are blended together to form Kajjali. Shudh Vatsanabh 2 Tola, Shudh Jaypal 2 Tola and Marich Phal(Phal == Fruit) Churn(herbal powder) 4 Tola are mixed with the Kajjali and thoroughly blended. The Kajjali mixture is given 5 Bhavana (treatment) with Kwaath prepared from Triphala plants. This formulation is called Ardhnarinateshwar Ras. Ardhnarinateshwar Ras on drying is then stored.

  • Kajjali prepared in the above formulation must adhere or comply with the Kajjali preparation description and standards as mentioned in various Ayurveda treatise.(see glossary)

  • 1 Tola approx. 11gm
