PREPARATION
Shudh (purified) Naag pieces are heated till the melt. Shudh(purified) Parad 8 Tola is immediately added to the melted Naag pieces and the mixture is thoroughly blended. Shudh Gandhak 8 Tola is then added to the mixture to form Kajjali(see glossary). Shudh Mansheel 8 Tola is mixed with Kajjali and transferred to a Kaach-Kupi(glass flask, see glossary). The Kaach-Kupi is layered 7 times with cloth plastered with wet-mud/clay and the Kaach-Kupi is cooked in Valuka-Yantra(see glossary) for 16Prahar(see glossary). On cooling crimson-coloured Manikya Ras which gets accumlated at the Kaach-Kupi neck is collected. Manikya Ras is then crushed in a flat surfaced stone vessel into fine powder which is stored.

NOTE
- Manikya-Ras preparation results in Naag Bhasma as end-product. Naag-Bhasma formed gets accumlated at the bottom of Kaach-Kupi after cooling. Hence Kaach-Kupi is not broken after Manikya-Ras preparation
- Kajjali prepared in the above formulation must adhere or comply with the Kajjali preparation description and standards as mentioned in various Ayurveda treatise.(see glossary)
