Loh(Tikshna, Kant, Mund Loh) Bhasma (Method 5)
PREPARATION
Shudh (purifed) Loh (any of three varities) is coarsely-powdered and blended with Dadim fruit juice for an entire day and dried. This process is repeated 7 times and the mixture is rolled into a cake dried and given Gajput (refer glossary). Like this 2 Gajput are given to obtain Loh Bhasma.

NOTE
To test if Loh Bhasma is prepared correctly small amount of the end-product must be sprinkled over a cut Amalki (Phyllanthus emblica, Avala,Gooseberry) fruit. If the fruit pulp turns black then the Loh Bhasm is not correctly formed and can create health-problems. Correctly formed Loh Bhasma has no effect on Amalki pulp.
