ABOUT
The classical Ayurveda plant Nirgundi is co-related to the genus Vitex botanically. The Ayurvedic literature describes two varieties of Nirgundi; Nirgundi (bearing Blue flowers), Sindubaar (bearing White flowers). The probable species for this genus which are discussed or accepted as source of Nirgundi are enumerated.
