Plant Description


A woody climber, clothed with rusty -brown deciduous hairs. Leaves trifoliolate. Petioles 10-15cm long. Leaflets 12 cm long and 6 cm broad, ovat;, oblong or elliptic, base rounded. Inflorescence axillary racemes, shorter than the leaves. Flowers purple. Pods. 5-6 cm long, winged on both the sutures, covered with brown, deciduous, irritant bristles. Seeds solitary, dark-brown. A rare plant along margins of forests. Leaves turn black after drying.

Flowering & Fruiting Period: November-March.
