PREPARATION
Shrung is cut into small pieces and given a Gajput (refer glossary). On cooling Shrung powder so formed is blended with Kumaari juice and rolled into a cake. The cake on drying is given a Laghuput (refer glossary) to obtain Shrung-Bhasma which is filtered and stored.

NOTE
Shrung pieces exposed to Gajput give a very foul odour and hence Vaidyas advise to perform the process in an open place.
