Swarn-Makshik Bhasma (Method 1)

PREPARATION

Shudh (purified) Swarn Makshik is mixed with Shudh Gandhak 1/4th its proportion. The mixture is blended with fresh lime juice for entire day and rolled into cake. The cake on drying is transferred to an earthen vessel. The vessel is sealed and given a Gajput (refer glossary).The cake is then removed and blended with Kumari juice to form a cake. The cake on drying is given a Laghuput (refer glossary). After 10 Laghuput violet-coloured Swarn-Makshik Bhasma is obtained.
