Āmavātāri Rasa / आमवातारी रस

PREPARATION

Shudh (purified) Parad 1 Tola and Shudh Gandhak 1 Tola are blended together to form Kajjali. Triphala Churn 3 Tola ,Chitrak Mul-Twak (Mul-Twak == Root-bark) Churn 1 Tola and Shudh Guggul 5 Tola are added to the Kajjali. The mixture is thoroughly pounded till it blends uniformly. The mixture is then processed with Erand Tail (Castor Oil) and rolled into tablets each measuring 2Gunj (see glossary). This formulation is called Aamvaataari Ras.

NOTE

  • Kajjali prepared in the above formulation must adhere or comply with the Kajjali preparation description and standards as mentioned in various Ayurveda treatise.(see glossary)

  • 1 Tola approx. 11gm

  • 1Gunj approx 125mg
