Swarnraajvangeshvar Ras (Method 1)

PREPARATION

Shudh(purified) Vang 10 Tola is heated till it melts.Shudh(purified) Parad 10 Tola is added to the melted Vang and constantly stirred till it blends. Shudh Gandhak 10 Tola and Shudh Navsagar 10 Tola is then added to the Parad-Vang mixture and thoroghly blended to form Kajjali.The Kajjali is then transferred to a Kaach-Kupi(glass flask, see glossary).Kaach-Kupi is layered 7 times with cloth plastered with wet-mud/clay and the Kaach-Kupi is cooked in Valuka-Yantra(see glossary) for 8Prahar. On cooling yellow-coloured Swarnraajvangeshwar which gets accumlated at the bottom of the Kaach-Kupi is collected.

NOTE

  • Swarnraajvangeshwar is bright yellow coloured with prominent shine resembling Swarn(gold) Hence it is so called as Swarnraajvangeshwar. Hence the name must not be confused for the formulation to be accounted as a containing Swarn.

  • Kajjali prepared in the above formulation must adhere or comply with the Kajjali preparation description and standards as mentioned in various Ayurveda treatise.(see glossary)

  • 1 Tola approx. 11gms

  • 1 Prahar approx. 3 hours
