PREPARATION
Shudh (purified) Parad 4 Tola and Shudh Gandhak 4 Tola are blended together to form Kajjali. Haritaki Phal 8 Tola, Shunthi 12 Tola, Marich Phal(Phal == Fruit) 12 Tola, Pippali Phal 12 Tola, Saindhav-Lavan 12 Tola and Shudh Vijaya 16 Tola are pounded to form coarse powder which is mixed with the Kajjali. The Kajjali mixture is given 7 Bhavana (treatment) with Jambeer Swaras. This formulation is called Ajirnaari Ras. On drying Ajirnaari Ras is rolled into tablets each measuring 2Gunj (see glossary).

NOTE
- Kajjali prepared in the above formulation must adhere or comply with the Kajjali preparation description and standards as mentioned in various Ayurveda treatise.(see glossary)
- Bal-Haritaki or the small sized fruits of Haritaki must be used in the above formulation
- 1 Tola approx. 11gm
- 1Gunj approx 125mg
