PREPARATION
Shudh(purified) Parad 4 Tola is processed with the following Bhavana-Dravya(Items used for treating the formulation); Dhattur Patra(Patra == Leaf) Swaras, Pipal Patra Swaras and finally Kwaath prepared from Kuchla Beej (Beej == Swaras). The processed Parad is then cooked in an Urdhwapatan-Yantra (see glossary). On cooling Parad is collected and Tamra Bhasma 5 Tola is mixed with it. The mixture is blended with water and rolled into a cake. The cake is placed in an earthen vessel filled with 2.5 Tola Shudh Gandhak. The vessel is sealed with clay and given 7 Laghuput(see glossary). On cooling the Parad-Tamra mixture is collected and blended with 5 Tola Shudh Gandhak to form Kajjali. Shudh Dhattur Beej 5 Tola, Shudh Vatsanabh 5 Tola and Abrakh Bhasma 5 Tola is added to the Kajjali and the mixture is processed in water for 3 days till uniform blend is obtained. This formulation is called Unmadgajankush Ras. Unmadgajankush Ras on drying is rolled into tablets each measuring 1Gunj (see glossary).

NOTE
- Kajjali prepared in the above formulation must adhere or comply with the Kajjali preparation description and standards as mentioned in various Ayurveda treatise.(see glossary)
- Abrakh Bhasma Shat(100)-puti must be used in preparation of Unmadgajankush Ras.
