PREPARATION

Fresh Guduchi stem is cut into thumb size pieces. The pieces are thoroughly washed with clean water and cut into small fine pieces.The pieces are transferred to a hollow vessel and thoroughly pounded. Water 4times the proportion of Guduchi pieces is added to the Guduchi pieces containing vessel. The entire mixture is vigorously rubbed with hands and filtered. The filtered water is kept covered and undisturbed overnight in a separate clean vessel. Next morning the water is carefully collected so that the settled residue at the bottom is not disturbed. This residue is called Guduchi Satva. Guduci Satva is further dried in sun and stored for use.
