PREPARATION

Shudh (purified) Parad 4 Tola and Shudh Gandhak 4 Tola are blended together to form Kajjali. Trikatu Churn 12 Tola, Ativisha 4 Tola, Musta (Nagar-Mustak variety) 4 Tola,Mochras (The gum obtained from the plant Shalmali is called Mochras) 4 Tola, Jaatiphal 4 Tola, Jaatipatra (Leaves of Jaatiphal are known as Jaatipatra)4 Tola, Shudh Tankan 4 Tola, Pippali 4 Tola and Kasturi 1 Tola are mixed with the Kajjali to form a fine blend. This formulation is called Raspippari

NOTE

  • Raspippari prepared without Kasturi is known as Raspippari Sadharan.

  • Kajjali prepared in the above formulation must adhere or comply with the Kajjali preparation description and standards as mentioned in various Ayurveda treatise.(see glossary)
