Taksharya Purification(Method 1)

PROCESS

Taksharya pieces are transferred in a muslin cloth and tied to form a poultice. This poultice is cooked in Go-Dugdha (cow's fresh milk) with help of a Dolayantra (see glossary) for 1 Prahar (see glossary). After the process is completed, Shudh (purified) Taksharya is obtained.

  • The term Taksharya pieces implies to seperate and entire Taksharya or gemstones and not to crushed or fine fragments of an individual Taksharya.
