PROCESS

Kharpar is grounded into coarse powder and transferred to a hollow shaped earthen vessel. The remaining empty portion of the vessel is filled wirh Go-Mutra (cow's fresh urine). The mixture is kept undisturbed for an entire day. The next day, Go-Mutra is carefully removed and replaced with fresh Go-Mutra. Likewise the entire process is carried out for 7 days. Kharpar pieces are then procured and washed with warm water to complete the purification process and obtain Shudh (purified) Kharpar.
