Kapardik Purification (Method 1)

Kapardik pieces are soaked in one of the following preparations for 8 days; Takra (buttermilk), Changeri Swaras(see glossary), Jambeer swaras. Each day the preparations are freshly made. After this the Kapardik pieces are further processed in one of the above preparation till they give a milky-white appearance. The pices are then washed with plain water to obtain Shudh (purified) Kapardik.
