Mauktik-Shukti Purification(Method 1)

Mauktik-Shukti pieces are transferred to a hollow earthen vessel. The remaining empty portion of the vessel is filled with water. Jambeer Swaras is sprinkled over the water and the vessel is cooked on low intensity flames (Manda-agni, Skt.) for 1 hour. Mauktik-Shauktik are then removed from the vessel and cleaned with warm water. The outer black covering if present is scrapped of to obtain Shudh (purified) Mauktik-Shukti.
