Gomed-mani Purification(Method 2)

PROCESS

Gomed-mani pieces are transferred in a muslin cloth and tied to form a poultice. This poultice is cooked in Jambeer Swaras (see glossary) with help of a Dolayantra (see glossary) for 1 Prahar (see glossary). After the process is completed, Shudh (purified) Gomed-mani is obtained.

  • The term Gomed-mani pieces implies to seperate and entire Gomed-mani or gemstones and not to crushed or fine fragments of an individual Gomed-mani.
