Neel-mani Purification (Method 1)

PROCESS

Neel-mani pieces are transferred in a muslin cloth and tied to form a poultice. This poultice is cooked in Neelini Swaras (see glossary) with help of a Dolayantra (see glossary) for 1 Prahar (see glossary). The inner content of poultice are then procured and cleaned with warm water to obtain Shudh (purified) Neel-mani.

  • The term Neel-mani pieces implies to seperate and entire Neel-manior gemstones and not to crushed or fine fragments of an individual Neel-mani.
