Vaikrant-mani Purification(Method 1)

Vaikrant-mani is broken into fine pieces and mixed with Saindhav-Lavan and Yava-Kshaar. The mixture is transferred in a muslin cloth and tied to form a poultice. This poultice is cooked in Kwaath (see glossary) prepared from Kulathi with help of a Dolayantra (see glossary) for 1 Prahar (see glossary). The inner content of poultice are then procured and cleaned with warm water to obtain Shudh (purified) Vaikrant-mani.
