PROCESS

Mal is broken into fine pieces. The pieces are transferred in a muslin cloth and tied to form a poultice. This poultice is cooked in Go-Dugdh (cow's fresh milk) with help of a Dolayantra (see glossary) for 1 Prahar (see glossary). The inner content of poultice are then procured, cleaned with warm water and allowed to dry to obtain Shudh (purified) Mal.
