Plant Description
Leaves roundish, peltate, obtuse, margins entire or wavy, smooth on both sides, posterior lobes
over- lapping each other, lower surface deep purple in colour. Flowers pale blue, smaller in size.
Petals 8-12 lanceolate. Filaments in 2 series, outer coloured like petals, Stigma 10- 12 rayed.
Berry globose, 1.5 cm in diam, 10- 12 celled. Flowers medium sized, blue, scarcely odourous.
Mostly cultivated.
