Plant Description
A tree up to 15 meter tall, bark rough, deeply furrowed. Leaves sub-opposite or upper ones alternate, ovate-oblong or elliptic-oblong, with two stalked glands on the midrib on ventral surface. Inflorescence axillary or terminal panicles. Flowers yellow. Drupes coriaceous, brown, winged. Wings 5, broad, hard, striated with many straight lines running horizontally from axis to the edges.
Flowering & Fruiting Period: April-June.
