Plant Description


An erect woody shrub 1-2 meter tall. Leaves trifoliolate. Leaflets 8-12 cm long,lanceolate,acute, the central leaflet cuneate at base, the lateral leaflets obliquely rounded. Petioles 6-9 cm long, slightly winged or not. Stipules linear, ecaducous. Inflorescence axillary racemes shorter than the petiole. Bracts lanceolate, membranous, silky hairy outside. Calyx densely hairy. Corolla purple. Pod oblong 12 mm long, tomentose, 2-seeded.
