Plant Description
Slender annual. Leaves orbicular-reniform or broadly ovate, distantly denticulate, 5- lobed, deeply cordate at base. Male flowers in axillary racemes, white. Female flowers axillary, solitary. Fruit ovoid, when ripe.common climber along hedges. The plant is also cultivated for vegetable. Cultivated fruits are sweet to taste unlike the wild variety which is bitter.
Flowering - Fruiting : July - October.
