Plant Description


Aquatic perennial herb with submerged rhizome. Rootstock ovoid. Leaves peltate, orbicular, obtusely sinuate-dentate with 5-8 cm deep sinus, glabrous on both the surfaces, purple beneath. Petioles long, slender, submerged. Flowers solitary, white or pale blue. Peduncles long, narrowing to the apex.

Flowering - Fruiting : March – December.
