PREPARATION

Shudh (purified) Parad 1 Tola and Shudh Gandhak 1 Tola are blended together to form Kajjali. Swarn-Makshik Bhasma 1 Tola and Loh Bhasma 1 Tola are mixed with the Kajjali to form a fine blend. The mixture is transferred to an iron vessel and processed in Triphala-Kwaath till a uniform blend is achieved. This formulation is called Sudhanidhi Ras

NOTE

A formulation by the name of Sudhanidhi Ras is also described in the treatise Bhaisajyaratnavalli..However it is completely different with respect to ingredients and preparation method. (For details see Sudhanidhi Ras (Type 1))
