Praneshwar Ras

PREPARATION

Shudh (purified) Parad 2 Tola and Shudh Gandhak 2 Tola are blended together to form Kajjali. Abrakh Bhasma 2 Tola, Shudh Tankan 2 Tola, Mishreya 2 Tola, Yavani 2 Tola, Jeerak 2 Tola, Yav-Kshaar 1 Tola, Sajji-Kshaar 1 Tola,Shudh Hingu 1 Tola, Panch Lavan 5 Tola, Vidang 1 Tola, Indrajav (Kutaj seeds are called Indrajav) 1 Tola and Chitrak 1 Tola are pounded together and mixed with Kajjali to form a fine blend. This mixture is called Praneshwar Ras.

NOTE

  • Abrakh Bhasma Shat(100)-puti must be used in preparation of Praneshwar Ras.

  • Kajjali prepared in the above formulation must adhere or comply with the Kajjali preparation description and standards as mentioned in various Ayurveda treatise.(see glossary)

  • 1 Tola approx. 11gm
