Kajjali

PREPARATION

Shudh (purified) Gandhak 1 Tola and Parad Bhasma 1 Tola are blended together to form Kajjali. Abrakh Bhasma 1 Tola, Vang Bhasma 1 Tola, Raupya Bhasma 1 Tola,Tikshna-Loh Bhasma 2 Tola, Kasis Bhasma 2 Tola ,Trikatu Churn 6 Tola, Bibhitak Churn 2 Tola are mixed with the Kajjali to form a fine blend. The mixture is processed in Taambol Patra (Patra == Leaf) Swaras till a uniform blend is achieved. This formulation is called Baljwarankush Ras

NOTE

Ayurvedsarsangrah has mentioned the use of Rassindoor in place of Parad Bhasma for preparation of Baljwarankush Ras.

Kajjali prepared in the above formulation must adhere or comply with the Kajjali preparation description and standards as mentioned in various Ayurveda treatise.(see glossary)

Abrakh Bhasma Shat(100)-puti must be used in preparation of Baljwarankush Ras.
