Jwaraari Ras

PREPARATION

Shudh (purified) Parad 1 Tola and Shudh Gandhak 1 Tola are blended together to form Kajjali. Tamra Bhasma 1 Tola, Abrakh Bhasma 1 Tola, Shudh Vatsanabh 1 Tola, Shudh Dhattur Beej (Beej == Seed) 2 Tola and Trikatu Churn 5 Tola are pounded to form a fine blend and mixed with Kajjali. The Kajjali mixture is processed in Aradrak Swaras till a uniform blend is achieved. This formulation is called Jwaraari Ras. On drying Jwaraari Ras is rolled into tablets each measuring 1/2 to 1Gunj (see glossary).

NOTE

  • Kajjali prepared in the above formulation must adhere or comply with the Kajjali preparation description and standards as mentioned in various Ayurveda treatise.(see glossary)

  • Jwaraari Ras is also known as Jwaraaryabhram Ras.

  • Abrakh Bhasma Shat(100)-puti must be used in preparation of Jwaraari Ras.
