Jirnjwarankush Ras

PREPARATION

Rassindoor 1 Tola, Abrakh Bhasma 1 Tola, Naag Bhasma 1 Tola, Tamra Bhasma 1 Tola, Kant-Loh Bhasma 1 Tola, Vaikrantmani Bhasma 1 Tola, Shudh Hingul 1 Tola, Shudh Tankan 1 Tola, Shudh Gandhak 1 Tola, Shudh Vatsanabh 1 Tola and Kutki Churn 1 Tola are mixed to form a fine blend. The mixture is given Bhavana (treatments) with each of the following Bhavana-Dravya(Items used for treating the formulation);Kwaath prepared from Trikatu plants, Triphala Kwaath, Kwaath prepared from Musta (Nagar-Mustak variety) , Bhringraaj Swaras and Nirgundi Swaras; till a uniform blend is achieved. The mixture is processed with each of the Bhavana-Dravya for 3 days. This formulation is known as Jirnjwarankush Ras.

    li>Abrakh Bhasma Shat(100)-puti must be used in preparation of Jirnjwarankush Ras.
  • Kajjali prepared in the above formulation must adhere or comply with the Kajjali preparation description and standards as mentioned in various Ayurveda treatise.(see glossary)
