PREPARATION

Naag Bhasma 1 Tola, Vang Bhasma 1 Tola, Abrakh Bhasma 1 Tola, Kant-Loh Bhasma 1 Tola and Tamra Bhasma 4 Tola are mixed together. The mixture is processed in Jambeer Swaras till it thoroughly blends. This formulation is called Gulmkuthar Ras. On drying Gulmkuthar Ras is rolled into tablets each measuring 1Gunj(see glossary).

Gulmkuthar Ras - Ingredient Details

NOTE

Ras is synonym of Parad and any formulation which contains Parad in individual or compound form or as an ingredient of a compound formulation used is given a suffix "RAS". Gulmkuthar does not contain Parad even though it is denoted as Gulmkuthar Ras.

Abrakh Bhasma Shat(100)-puti must be used in preparation of Gulmkuthar Ras.
