Harishankar Ras

PREPARATION

Parad Bhasma and Abrakh Bhasma in equal proportions are mixed together to forma fine blend. The mixture is processed for 1 week each with the following Bhavana-Dravya(Items used for treating the formulation), Amalaki Swaras and Haridra Swaras; till a uniform blend is achieved. This formulation is called Harishankar Ras.

  • Certain Vaidyas (Ayurveda Physicians) use Rassindoor in place of Parad Bhasma for preparation of Harishankar Ras.
