Vajra Bhasma (Method 3)

PREPARATION

1 Tola Vajra pieces are heated in an iron pan. As the pieces turn hot they are immediately transferred in a vessel containing Gulaab Jal. This process is repeated 108 times which makes the Vajra pieces extremely brittle. Vajra pieces are then taken in an flat surfaced vessel and pounded to obtain dark-coloured corase powder. Vajra powder has a shiny appearance. The powder is blended with Gulaab-Jal and given a Gajput (refer glossary). Like this 14 Gajput are give. Vajra Bhasma so prepared is again blended with Kumari juice and given a Gajput. Like this 14 Gajput with Kumari juice are given. If Vajra Bhasma still retains the shine then more Gajput with Kumari Juice are given and finally maroon-coloured Vajra Bhasma is obtained
