Swarnbhoopati Ras

PREPARATION

Shudh(purified) Parad 1part, Shudh Gandhak 1part are blended together to form Kajjali(see glossary). Tamra Bhasma 2part, Abrakh Bhasm 1Part,Loh Bhasma 1Part, Kant-Loh Bhasma 1Part,Swarn Bhasma 1Part, Raupya Bhasma 1Part and Shudh Vatsanabh 1Part is mixed with Kajjali and thoroughly blended with Hansraaj swaras(juice) for 1day. The Kajjali is then transferred to a Kaach-Kupi(glass flask, see glossary).Kaach-Kupi is layered 7 times with cloth plastered with wet-mud/clay and the Kaach-Kupi is cooked in Valuka-Yantra(see glossary) on a low controlled flame (Mand agni, refer glossary).On cooling Swarnbhoopati Ras is collected.

  • Kajjali prepared in the above formulation must adhere or comply with the Kajjali preparation description and standards as mentioned in various Ayurveda treatise.(see glossary)
