Laghu Panchmool itself is not an individual entity but a collective name attributed to the combination of Roots (Mul == Roots) of 5 (Panch == 5) plants; Equal proportions of Shaalparni, Prushnaparni, Gokshur, Bruhati and Kantakari constitute the group Laghu-Panchmool.
