PREPARATION
Shudh (purified) Hingul 2 Tola, Pippali 2 Tola, Kasturi 1 Tola, Mochras (The gum obtained from the plant Shalmali is called Mochras) 1 Tola, Shudh Tankan 1 Tola, Akarkarabh 4 Tola, Jaatipatra (Leaves of Jaatiphal are known as Jaatipatra) 4 Tola, Jaatiphal 4 Tola and Shudh Vatsanabh 4 Tola are mixed together and processed in Taambol Patra (Patra == Leaf) Swaras for 3 days till the mixture attains a uniform blend. This formulation is called Naagvallabh Ras. On drying Naagvallabh Ras is rolled into tablets each measuring 1Gunj (see glossary).
