Sheela Sindoor

PREPARATION

Shudh(purified) Parad 10 Tola, Shudh Gandhak 10 Tola are blended together to form Kajjali(see glossary). Shudh Mansheel 5 Tola is mixed with Kajjali and thoroughly blended in Kumari Swaras (leaf juice). The Kajjali is then transferred to a Kaach-Kupi(glass flask, see glossary).Kaach-Kupi is layered 7 times with cloth plastered with wet-mud/clay and the Kaach-Kupi is cooked in Valuka-Yantra(see glossary) for 2.5 days. On cooling Sheela-Sindoor is collected.
