Manikya Bhasma (Method 2)

PREPARATION

Shudh (purified) Manikya is pounded to coarse-powder. Manikya powder is filtered and blended with Kumari Juice to form a cake. The cake on drying is given 7-8 Gajput (refer glossary) to obtain Manikya Bhasma

NOTE

Manikya is purified in this formula by cooking Manikya over high flame till it turns red hot after which it is instantly soaked in Triphala Kwaath(decoction). The process is repeated 6-7 times after which Shudh(purified) white-coloured Manikya is obtained which is used to prepare Manikya Bhasma as stated above
