PREPARATION
20 Tola Shudh (purified) Vimal is powdered and transferred to an iron vessel. Go-ghrut (cow's ghee/butter) is added to the vessel in a quantity enough to soak Vimal powder. The mixture is then heated with constant stirring. As the mixture begins to catch fire , the vessel should be removed and allowed to cool. The process is repeated 2- 3 times to obtain red-coloured Vimal Bhasma.
