PREPARATION
Shudh (purified) Parad 4 Masha and Shudh Gandhak 4 Masha are blended together to form Kajjali. Shudh Vatsanabh 4 Tola, Shudh Mansheel 4 Masha, Shudh Tankan 4 Masha is mixed with the Kajjali to form a fine blend. Marich Phal (Phal == Fruit) 2 Tola are crushed to forma fine powder (Each Marich fruit is individually crushed to a fine powder and then entire fruit powder is again pounded into a fine blend). Trikatu Churn 1.5 Tola is mixed with Marich Churn. The Marich-Trikatu mixture is blended with the Kajjali mixture to form a uniform blend. This formulation is called Shwaskuthar Ras.

NOTE
- The above preparation of Shwaskuthar Ras is also described in the treatise Rasendrasarsangrah. However Rasendrasarsangrah has mentioned the quantity of Marich Churn as 1 Tola as compared to 2 Tola.
- Aushadhigundharmshastra advises to process Shwaskuthar Ras with Taambol (Piper betle) Patra (Patra == Leaf) Swaras before use.
- Kajjali prepared in the above formulation must adhere or comply with the Kajjali preparation description and standards as mentioned in various Ayurveda treatise.(see glossary)
