PREPARATION
Shudh (purified) Parad 1 Tola and Shudh Gandhak 1 Tola are blended together to form Kajjali. Shudh Vatsanabh 1 Tola, Shudh Dhattur Beej (Beej == Seed) 3 Tola and Trikatu Churn 3 Tola are pounded to form a fine blend and mixed with Kajjali. The Kajjali mixture is given 7 Bhavana (treatment) each with Aradrak Swaras and Jambeer Swaras till a uniform blend is achieved. This formulation is called Jwarankush Ras. On drying Jwarankush Ras is rolled into tablets each measuring 1/4 to 1Gunj (see glossary).
