PREPARATION
Shudh (purified) Parad 1 Tola and Shudh Gandhak 1 Tola are blended together to form Kajjali. Loh Bhasma 1 Tola and Shankh Bhasma 1 Tola are mixed with the Kajjali to form a fine blend. The Kajjali mixture is processed with the following Bhavana-Dravya(Items used for treating the formulation); Kumari Swaras, Dhattur Patra (Patra == Leaf) Swaras and Changeri Swaras; till a uniform blend is achieved. The mixture is rolled into a cake and layered 7 times with cloth plastered with wet-mud/clay. The mixture is then given a Laghuput(see glossary). On cooling the cloth is removed and inner mixture procured and pounded into a fine powder. This formulation is called Vantihrudra Ras.
